Finding a Local Sea Scout Ship - BeaScout.org is the place to find the closest Scouting unit to your location.  If you are interested in finding Sea Scout Ships located near where you live, click on the Venturing/Sea Scouts tab on the front page of the site.  There is a place to type in your zip code and when you click "search" a Google® map will appear with the BSA units noted on their by their symbols.  Sea Scout Ships are denoted by the placement of the Sea Scout logo, which is the first class scout emblem superimposed upon an anchor.  On the right-hand side is a listing of the units with a link to click to get more information on that particular unit.  Ship 16 can be found and its information is listed on BeAScout.org.
