Camping with Pack 73



Pack 73 participates in two camps each year. These camps offer scouts new adventures focused on a variety of activities such as BB guns, archery, slingshot, wood projects, rope making, knot tying, games, fire building, and more. Activities vary each year and by camp.

Swamp Fox Camp - September 20-22, 2019
Swamp Fox occurs in the fall at Camp Long Lake in St. Cloud, WI and is coordinated by the Potawatomi Area Council. Scouts can earn the Order of the Swamp Fox honor. RSVP in Scoutbook.

Eagle's Nest Camp
Eagle's Nest is in the spring at the IMR Indian Mound Reservation in Oconomowoc, WI.  This event is coordinated by local Packs (to include Pack 73!) Scouts can earn the Soaring Eagle honor.

Sign up for these camps will be on a first-come, first-serve bases as spots are limited. Camping events will be in Scoutbook. Scouts in Lion through Arrow of Light are eligible to attend. 

Camps start on Friday evening and run through Sunday morning, include meals and on-site restrooms/showers. 

Each camp offers the honorary recognition for Scouts demonstrating the best scout behavior, upholding the Scout Law and Oath. Pack 73 honorees are voted in by fellow scouts and parents attending the event. Typically the Pack receives 1 honor per 8 attending scouts. Boys who have earned the honors in prior years and Tigers are not eligible.

Webelos Resident Camp



Webelos resident camp is geared towards older cub scouts looking for adventure. At this camp, scouts will complete many requirements, earn patches and participate in a 3-night, 4-day overnight camping experience.  Scouts will tent camp at Camp Long Lake. The Webelos den leaders will coordinate this event with the parents of the scouts in the den. 

When: August 7-10, 2019
Register: Early bird registration until June 14, 2019.  
Cost:  $90 per Adult, $150 per Webelos/AOL Scout 

All meals and activities are included.

Summer Fun Camp



Cub Scouts have many options over the summer for fun camping ADVENTURE! Some are Pack events and others, Council events.  Below is a list of all camp offerings in 2019.

Pack Events
Scout Skills Day - August 24-25th; Each year Pack 73 kicks-off the scout year with a fun day of adventures.  This is a must not miss event, as our leaders focus on a number of required adventures.  In 2019, families have the option to camp overnight on Saturday.
