Registration Information

  • The fee for our 2018 MBU is $13 per scout. This includes the cost for the merit badge session(s), lunch, and a commemorative patch.  Some merit badges may have an additional fee for materials. If so, the fee will be listed with the merit badge on www.MeritBadge.info
  •  Registration for Towpath MBU will, again, be run through www.MeritBadge.info. Registration for MBU is on a troop basis only – NOT on an individual basis.  Please contact your scoutmaster or your troop’s advancement person to sign up your scout.  Individual Scouts wishing to attend, please contact us using the 'contact us' button above or at TowpathMBU@gmail.com 
  • Payment will be accepted on troop basis. Checks are payable to Seneca Waterways Council and should be delivered to the scout office at 2320 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Rd, Rochester, NY 14623 along with your receipt from MeritBadge. Info.
  • Each troop must have a designated unit leader create an account at www.Meritbadge.info in order to sign up scouts. Beginning January 10, 2019, registration will open for all units and will remain open until February 2nd, 2019.
  •  Each troop is responsible for supplying blue cards for their scouts.  Merit badge counselors will have no extra blue cards at the event.
  • Many of the merit badges offered have requirements that must be completed BEFORE the scouts arrive.  Unit leaders are responsible for making sure your scouts are prepared when they arrive. 
  • Remember: Troops who provide a counselor or volunteer for the day will be eligible for the early registration. Please contact TowpathMBU@gmail.com if you are interested in this offer.
